Dr. Robert Harbin is a 1970 graduate of the University of Virginia. He received his medical degree from Vanderbilt Medical School in 1974. After his one year internship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Dr. Harbin did his residency in ophthalmology from 1975-1978 at the University of Florida.
He is licensed in Georgia and Alabama and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Harbin has also served as a Director of AmSouth, the Rome Georgia YMCA, the Harbin Clinic, and Peach State Labs, Inc. He resides in Rome, GA with his wife, Elizabeth.
